Cubozoa
"Cubozoa" is a personal project that fuses geometric precision with artistic expression. The design blends abstract and realistic elements, symbolizing the journey from chaos to order.
Project Overview:
In this project, I focused on exploring the power of simple geometric forms to create complex visual narratives. The face of Zeus, paired with the animation of the cubes, represents a harmony between digital techniques and classical mythology.
Process and Techniques:
MoGraph Animation: Utilized Cinema 4D’s MoGraph tools to control the rotation and positioning of the cubes, each representing a letter of "Spareartist," driven by an animated vertex map and fields to create smooth, dynamic transitions.
Lighting and Texturing: Applied dramatic lighting and custom textures to enhance the depth, contrast, and detail of both the cubes and the face.
Rendering: Employed Redshift as the rendering engine to achieve high-quality visuals with realistic lighting and shading.
Sound Design: Created an immersive soundscape that complements the visuals, enhancing the overall experience and narrative of the animation.
Outcome:
"Cubozoa" blends modern digital precision with mythological storytelling, showcasing a unique visual that represents the Spareartist brand. This project demonstrates my expertise in MoGraph animation, lighting, texturing, rendering, and sound design, pushing the boundaries of 3D motion design.
